S.S.K POWDER;

S.S.K Powder is a Siddha herbal Medicine in Siddha system of medicines. It is used to treat type 1 & 2 diabetes and other complications of diabetes.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS

Trigonella foenum-graecum cold water extract, known as fenugreek tea, has been traditionally used against respiratory infections (bronchitis and pneumonia), and since it nourishes the body during illness, the herb has also been used to reduce fever, when taken with lemon and honey.

Hemidesmus indicus plant is demulcent, alterative, astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, tonic, anti-pyretic, and blood purifier. It is used in leprosy, skin diseases, fever, asthma, bronchitis, syphilis, pruritus and other urinary diseases, chronic rheumatism, and leucorrhoea.

Eclipta prostrata - plays a role in the treatment of several diseases, including infectious hepatitis, snake venom poisoning, gastritis, and respiratory diseases such as a cough and asthma.

Azadirachta Indica -  is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions.

Evolvulus alsinoides - is used in form of decoction in nervous debility and loss of memory. The plant is also useful as blood purifier and in bleeding piles. The fresh flowers with sugar are eaten as a brain tonic. The leaves are made into cigarettes and smoked in chronic bronchitis and asthma.

Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

Embelia ribes known in commerce as Baibidang are recommended for relieving headache, rhinitis, haemorrhage, epilepsy and insomnia. The decoction of dried fruits is used for fever and for chest and skin disease. it is used to cure skin diseases, abdominal pains, flatulence, worms, mental disorders, tumors, bronchitis, jaundice, cardio disorders and is used as a brain tonic.

Cocos nucifera - Thennampalai - antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, antidermatophytic, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, hepatoprotective, immunostimulant.

INDICATIONS;

It is used to treat type 1 & 2 diabetes.

It is used to treat polyurea.

It is used to treat insulin secretion.

It regulates blood glucose level.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take 1-2gms with lukewarm water after food twice a day, or as directed by the physician.
