ASTHOMAP TABLETS;

Maharishi Ayurveda Asthomap is judicious combination of herbs which counteracts respiratory allergies, allays and arrests broncho-spasms, exerts prompt mucolytic action, tones up the respiratory mucosal lining and dilates bronchioles. Asthomap contains natural immuno-modulators which enhance the body's immunity to respiratory diseases. Asthomap corrects imbalance of Vata and Kapha and improves the quality of Pitta to restore order in respiration.

Asthomap contain no steroids hence is safe for a long term use. Prolonged use of Asthomap reduces hypersensitivity to allergens and reduces intensity and frequency of asthmatic attacks . Asthomap corrects digestion also.

ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;

Talispatra - Abies webbiana -  is an ingredient in a famous Ayurvedic medicine for cough – Talisadi Choorna, used in treating cough and cold. It is aromatic, appetiser, expectorant and mildly laxative.

KaliMirch - Piper nigrum -  active constituent ''Piperine''exhibits diverse pharmacological activities like antihypertensive, antiplatelet, antioxidant, antitumor, anti-asthmatics, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrheal, antispasmodic, antidepressants, immunomodulatory, anticonvulsant, anti-thyroids, antibacterial

Shunthi - Zingiber officinale - is one of the most widely used natural products consumed as a spice and medicine for treating nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.

Pippali - Piper lingum -  is most commonly used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.

Vanshlochan - Bambusa arundinacea -  is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of cough, skin diseases, wounds, digestive disorders, nausea, gynecological disorders and fever.

Ela - Elettaria cardamomum - is used to cure indigestion, nausea, vomiting and used to expel out phlegm out of body. It is very beneficial in congestion of lungs and other pulmonary diseases. It is also used as laxative and used to prevent stomach pain, flatulence and gripping.

Twak - Cinnamomum Zeylaincum - is an Ayurveda herb mentioned for the treatment of bad odor from mouth, black spots on the face, dental caries, swelling, cough and in complications of tuberculosis. 

Soma Lata - Sarcostemma brevisitigma -  is used in the traditional systems of medicine for various ailments. The decoction of the plant is useful to gargle for throat and mouth infection. 

Yashtimadhu - Glycyrrhiza glabra - is a small perennial herb that has been traditionally used to treat many diseases, such as respiratory disorders, hyperdipsia, epilepsy, fever, sexual debility, paralysis, stomach ulcers, rheumatism, skin diseases, hemorrhagic diseases, and jaundice.

Vasa - Adhatoda vasica - is useful in treating bronchitis, tuberculosis and other lung and bronchiole disorders. A decoction of the leaves of Vasaka may be used to help with cough and other symptoms of colds. The soothing action helps irritation in the throat and the expectorant will help loosen phlegm deposits in the airway.

Kushta - Saussurea lappa -  roots have been widely used in chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and bronchitis in traditional medicine and in inflammation-related diseases. Its roots are used especially in Siddha for the medicinal purposes

Mishri - Crystal sugar -  is an energy booster and improves fertility along with relieving cough and sore throat.

INDICATIONS;

It is used to treat bronchial Asthma.

It is used to treat Chronic Bronchitis.

It is used to treat Bronchial and Respiratory allergies, 

It is used to treat Pulmonary Eosinophilia,

It is used to treat Emphysema,

As an adjuvant in the treatment of chronic cough.

DOSAGE AND ADJUVANTS;

Take  1 to 2 tablets with lukewarm water thrice a day or as advised by the physician.
