CHUKKU THAILAM;
Chukku Thailam is an Ayurvedic oil used to cure various health issues like evening headaches, sinus, body cramps, rheumatic pain, and many such problems. The oil can also be used to cure a viral fever and even cold and cough. Massaging the body joints with the help of Chukku Thailam helps to get relief from pain. Using oil to relieve muscle cramps is also useful.
The product is also helpful to cure chronic headaches or sinus. Therefore it is helpful for foraged as well as people who often suffer from a headache issue. It is also useful to cure a joint or part of the body locked down due to a sudden movement.
ROLE OF INGREDIENTS;
Zingiber officinale - nausea, dysentery, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, infections, cough, and bronchitis.
Sesamum indicum -is mildly laxative, emollient, and demulcent. The seeds and fresh leaves may be used as a poultice.
Alpinia galanga - is used to make medicine. Alpinia is used to treat fever, muscle spasms, intestinal gas, and swelling (inflammation); to kill bacteria and as a stimulant.
Piper nigrum - ''Piperine''exhibits diverse pharmacological activities like antihypertensive, antiplatelet, antioxidant, antitumor, anti-asthmatics, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrheal, antispasmodic, antidepressants, immunomodulatory, anticonvulsant, anti-thyroids, antibacterial
Piper longum -used to treat chronic bronchitis, asthma, constipation, gonorrhea, paralysis of the tongue, diarrhea, cholera, chronic malaria, viral hepatitis, respiratory infections, stomachache, bronchitis, diseases of the spleen, cough, and tumors.
Cyperus rotundas - used to treat various clinical conditions at homes such as diarrhea, diabetes, pyretic, inflammation, malaria, and stomach and bowel disorders.
Rubia cordifolia - has been evaluated for its wound healing activity. The leaves of this plant were also studied for their antiviral and in-vitro free radical scavenging activity.
Asparagus racemosus -is also used for fluid retention, pain, anxiety, cancer, diarrhea, bronchitis, tuberculosis, dementia, and diabetes. Some people use it to ease alcohol withdrawal.
Aquilaria agallocha - is used in treating diseases related to ear, nose, throat, asthma, cough, etc.
Calotrophis gigantea -effective in treating skin, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and neurological disorders and was used to treat fevers, elephantiasis, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The milky juice of Calotropis Procera was used against arthritis, cancer, and as an antidote for snakebite.
Picrorhiza Scrophularia flora - is proved to be anti-atherosclerotic, antidiabetic, and anti-inflammatory in-vivo studies, and antimicrobial, antimalarial, antioxidative, hepatoprotective, immunomodulatory and nerve growth factor potentiating from in-vitro studies.
Plumbago zeylanica - used in the treatment of stubborn chronic rheumatoid arthritis, skin diseases, and tumorous growths as recommended by Ayurveda. It also finds its use in correcting chronic menstrual disorders, viral warts, and chronic diseases of the nervous system.
Cedrus deodara -acts as an expectorant and is useful in curing piles, epilepsy, stones in the kidney and bladder, useful in fevers, and many other disorders. The oil is antiseptic in nature and helpful in curing skin diseases, wounds, urogenital diseases, diaphoretic as well as insecticide.
Santalum album -is used for treating the common cold, cough, bronchitis, fever, and sore mouth and throat. It is also used to treat urinary tract infections (UTIs), liver disease, gallbladder problems, heatstroke, gonorrhea, headache, and conditions of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease).
Shorea robusta -has carminative, stomachic, and astringent properties. It gives relief in skin disorders, pain in nerves, burn injury, fever, enlargement of the spleen, abnormal discharge from the body (menorrhagia, leucorrhoea), diarrhea, and bleeding piles. It is also given in gonorrhea, and for weak digestion.

Ricinus communis -used in traditional medicine such as abdominal disorders, arthritis, backache, muscle aches, bilharziasis, chronic backache and sciatica, chronic headache, constipation, expulsion of placenta, gallbladder pain, period pain, menstrual cramps, rheumatism, sleeplessness, and insomnia.
Symplocos racemosa -helps to treat gynecological problems such as menorrhagia, frequent abortions, uterine bleeding disorders and leucorrhea. Use the bark decoction with milk for menstrual disorders.
Phoenix dactylifera - are used as a detersive and astringent in intestinal troubles, treatment for sore throat, colds, bronchial asthma, to relieve fever, cystisis, gonorrhea, edema, liver and abdominal troubles and to counteract alcohol intoxication.
Vitis vinifera -used for treating sore throats, and raisins were given as treatments for consumption (tuberculosis), constipation and thirst. Ripe grapes were used for the treatment of cancer, cholera, smallpox, nausea, skin and eye infections as well as kidney and liver diseases.

Crocus sativus - is used for asthma, cough, whooping cough (pertussis), and to loosen phlegm (as an expectorant).

INDICATIONS:
Massaged on the body in cephalalgia of before Chandiravarththam, Sooriyavarththam (Morning headache) and Amavadham (rheumatic affections) Used as Nasiyam (nasal drops) in Thalaivali (headaches) and Peenisam (sinusitis) / Gargled with some water in dental diseases (Pal Noigal) such as Dhantavayu (odontalgia) and Palaranai (dental caries). Used as ear drops (2 drops) in Kaadhu vali (earache). Applied to the scalp in Thalai vali (headaches). In the cases of Marbu Kozhai (cold), Thondai Kattu (sore throat), and Kural Kammal (hoarseness of voice), this is very effective when used as a head bath oil.
DIRECTIONS FOR USAGE;
For external use only. Used for massaging purposes and as a bath oil, also used as nasal and ear drops.
